INGREDIENTS
- 1 kg potatoes
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1/2 tbsp garlic paste
- 3 tbsp onion paste
- 1 medium size onion finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 bay leaves
- 4/5 green chilies
- fresh coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp kasauri methi
- 2 tbsp curd
- 1 tbsp kashmiri mirch
- 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tbsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
- salt as per requirement
- sugar as you wish
- 2 tbsp oil
- garam masala(clove,cardamom,cinnamon)
PREPARATION
- First steam the potatoes 10 minutes.
- Now drain the water from the potatoes .
- Heat the oil in a pan
- Fry the boiled potatoes in golden brown
- Now potatoes are separated from oil
- Bay leaves and cumin seeds are added in the remaining oil.
- Now added the finely chopped onion and fried them.
- All the spices are mixed in curd and mix them well.
- The mixture added in the pan.
- potatoes are also added.
- Now cook them in low heat.
- Until the oil separated from spices
- If you wish you can add some water
- And now add kasuri methi and cover it
- Remove the pan from heat.
- Now add garam masala.
- Garnish with green coriander leaves.
You enjoy it with veg fried rice/paratha/puri etc.
