INGREDIENTS
- 1 kg rohu fish.
- salt as per requirement.
- 2 tbsp turmeric powder.
- soya oil/sunflower oil-1 cup.
- ghee(clarified butter) 1 tbsp.
- 2 bay leaves.
- garam masala(spices mixture).
- 2 tbsp ginger paste.
- 2 tbsp garlic paste.
- 2/3 ginger.
- kismis(raisins).
- kaju(cashew nut) paste.
- onion paste 2/3 tbsp.
- coconut milk-1/2 cup.
- garam masala powder
- sweet curd(yogurt)
- At first clean fish pieces very well.
- Then salt and turmeric powder mixed with the pieces .
- Now heat the oil in the frying pan.Then keep the fish on the heated oil and fry the fish.
- When the fish are fried then keep aside them from flame.
- Now in the remaining oil we add ghee,bay leaves ,garam masala and garlic .
- Fry them lightly and now add the ginger paste,garlic paste, onion paste ,salt.
- Now cook them until the oil is separated from the spices.
- Then add the kismis and kaju paste and coconut milk.
- Cook them 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes add the curd and cook for 2 minutes.
- Now add garam masala powder and turn off the flame.
